cMFGx partners with Huron One to launch contract manufacturing directory and exchange

cMFGx and Huron One are proud to announce the launch of cMFGx's online contract manufacturing directory and exchange.  Over the last 12 months, we've partnered with knowledgeable industry veterans to create a state-of-the-art procurement application.

The Directory

The directory enables contract manufacturers to create a low-cost mini-website.  Accessible to all major search engines, members can add their logo, contact information, company description, services and certifications to the company profile.  The directory will increase exposure and help acquire new business for suppliers of contract manufactured parts.

The Exchange

The cMFGx procurement exchange allows buyers to efficiently distribute single or multi-line RFQs to one or more qualified suppliers.  In return, suppliers can provide a detailed quote for part manufacturing.  Finally, buyers can view all submitted quotes in one glance and issue a purchase order to the selected supplier.

This custom exchange matches the proven RFQ to Quote to Purchase Order process, but provides a much more efficient and organized means for completing the process.  Combine the core process with a host of other tools, including approved suppliers lists, an online print and document library and a full rating system and the cMFGx exchange is an extremely valuable tool.
